As the owner of City Publications Dallas Metroplex, I'm pleased to be contributing to my community. I've called North Texas home for nearly 30 years and raised both of my children in Plano. I've seen a lot of change over the years and am excited to contribute to the continued growth in Collin, Dallas, and Rockwall counties.

I look forward to building long-term relationships with local business owners by getting to know their specific needs and earning their trust. I also love a data-driven approach to reaching active consumers, which generates quality leads for growing businesses.

I bring a diverse background to City Publications and consider myself a business generalist who specializes in people, but volunteering has always been close to my heart. I spent many years volunteering in the local schools while my kids were growing up. I'm also especially proud of the nearly 20 years that I volunteered with the NExT Region Destination Imagination program, having served on the Board of Directors for many of those years. Building up my community is not new to me, and now I'm blessed to be able to partner with businesses in North Texas.

My husband, Mark, and I like traveling and visiting our kids who live out of state.  I enjoy photography, watercolor painting, swimming, and spending time with friends and family. I also love genealogy research, because knowing where we’ve been helps us know where we’re going!

Attorney Christene “Chris” Krupa Downs is an attorney at Krupa Downs Law, PLLC. Chris focuses her practice on wills, trusts, advance directives, estate planning, guardianships, and probate. She has almost 10 years of legal experience handling estate planning, probate & guardianship legal matters for clients in Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Plano and throughout Collin, Dallas and Denton counties. 

In addition to her practice, Chris writes and lectures for local and state bar associations, and at legal seminars. She is a member of various professional organizations, including the Collin County Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas Bar College. She is also active in the State Bar of Texas and serves on the board of the Bar’s Computer and Technology Section Council.

As part of giving back to the North Texas community, Chris served on the board of This Side UP! Family Center, an organization providing parenting and family-based education, and City House, a homeless shelter for youth in the Plano and northern Texas. Her additional community contributions are numerous and include serving as a public affairs representative for the Junior League of Collin County. She is also a former Treasurer and Executive Vice President of the organization.
